All Arise Shine, a village where Kachins flee their families, has built after-school tutoring classrooms that are stepping up their efforts.
In the future, local preachers will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to tutor their homework every evening, passing by the village of dozens of children to preach the gospel.
The story of this Kachin preacher, which I briefed a little bit a while ago. He had served in the mountains, and because of the civil war, local residents fled to the mountains, and the church was forced to close. In order to serve his people, he also moved with them to the mountains, making bricks for a living, and establishing a church in a local village.
