Work to help rebuild
All Arise Shine has helped repair old school buildings at the South Pagha Evangelical School in northern Myanmar.
The work included the replacement of all new ywa in the corridors, the replacement of decaying and worm-bitten timbers in classrooms and corridors, the resurfacing of cement floors in four classrooms and corridors, the repair of worn-out classroom walls, and the replacement of four toilet basins and the repair of eight toilet doors.
According to the school's pastor, the completion of this renovation on schedule not only helped the school, but also allowed some local trainers to attend training, because of the recent civil war in Burma, where the school is sheltered.
The rise of glowing music to see many of Myanmar's old Chinese or gospel schools slowly being renovated will also do their best to help them, giving students a good place to learn and live. Let us bless them.
